Donetsk, Jul 9 – DAN. The Vodafone mobile carrier resumed services in Donbass, the connection to the network will be restored within hours, said the DPR Ministry of Communications.
"Vodafone will resume operations shortly in both People's Republics," the press statement said.
The connection to Vodafone was lost today at around 9 a.m. after an equipment malfunction in Kiev-controlled Lisichansk.
On January 11, the DPR was cut off from the last Ukrainian mobile carrier MTS-Ukraine (Vodafone) services after an emergency disconnection of communication channel outside Elenovka. A DPR mobile carrier Phoenix was the only mobile services provider in the Republic. Vodafone resumed services on April 27. *ot
