Donetsk, Sep 22 — DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic is setting up regional vascular centers and primary care vascular facilities for patients with acute coronary syndrome, acute myocardial infarction and cerebrovascular disturbances, DPR Deputy Prime Minister Larisa Tolstykina said on Friday.

“We plan to open three centers in Donetsk, Makeyevka and Maripuol, eight primary care centers for treating cerebrovascular disorders in Donetsk, Gorlovka, Khartsyzsk, Snezhnoye and Volnovakha and another five centers for patients with acute coronary syndrome and myocardial infarction in Donetsk, Makeyevka, Gorlovka and Torez, ” Tolstykina said.

All the centers will have state-of-the-art equipment and employ the best treatment methods, she said adding the work to launch them was underway.

Earlier reports said that more than 90 DPR medical facilities were involved in preventive examinations of the Republic’s adult population, in accordance with President Vladimir Putin’s instructions.*jk
