Donetsk, Dec 15 — DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic Acting Head Denis Pushilin has signed a decree on new official public holidays to mark Republic’s Day, Easter, Pentecost and DPR’s reunification with Russia.
Pushilin’s Decree No 53 adds the following public holidays: Donetsk People’s Republic Day (May 11), Day of DPR reunification with Russia (30 September), Easter (Sunday) and Pentecost (Sunday).
If a public holiday falls on a non-working day, the day which follows the public holiday is a day-off. The decree came into force on Thursday. It cancels DPR Head’s decree of December 13, 2018 on public holidays in the DPR.
