Donetsk, Jul 31 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic electricians restored power to two villages outside Donetsk after the blackouts caused by Ukrainian army strikes, the Republic’s Coal and Energy Ministry press service reported on Tuesday.

“Repair teams put power back on line to the Luganskoye and Signalnoye villages which suffered blackouts on Monday evening as a result of Ukrainian artillery fire,” the report said.

The Ministry said the workers had restored power to 22 electrical substations; the work was completed at 11:42. Repairs are ongoing at the Elenovka village.

At 22:36 on July 30, a Ukrainian artillery round hit the Elenovka substation damaging a 110 kW oil circuit breaker. The accident caused power outages in three villages outside Donetsk.*jk
