Donetsk, Feb 28 – DAN. Over 1,000 residents of Kiev-controlled part of Donetsk Region have received medical aid in DPR hospitals under the Donbass people reunification humanitarian program this year, DPR Health Ministry said.
“As of February 28, 1,104 patients from Kiev-controlled territories received medical aid under the Donbass people reunification humanitarian program,” the ministry’s press service said.
Of those, 219 patients underwent surgeries, chemotherapies and beam therapies; 25 women received gynecological operative aid; 25 women received obstetric assistance.
On February 17 DPR and LPR Heads approved the humanitarian aid program aimed to assist people living in Kiev-controlled territories. The main objective is to provide financial aid and educational assistance to vulnerable social groups. On February 21 the program was officially presented to people, hotlines and websites associated with the program were launched.*ot
