Donetsk, Mar 14 – DAN. The OSCE SMM monitors have arrived today to Yasinovataya to inspect the vehicles of Voda Donbassa state water company damaged by Ukrainian forces’ fire, said the company’s representative.
“OSCE SMM monitors have arrived in the morning and began examining the vehicles targeted from the positions of the Ukrainian forces on March 12 and 13.”
According to the speaker, preliminary examination showed a bullet broke into the driver’s cabin through the front window and passed 5 cm from the driver. The management of the Donetsk water treatment plant is going to shut down its operation. The final decision will be taken after the OSCE SMM completes its work on the site, Voda Donbassa representative said.
On March 12 and 13 Ukrainian forces opened fire on company’s vehicles transporting personnel to the Donetsk water treatment plant. The incident occurred in close proximity to an object occupied by Ukrainian forces. No casualties were reported, though one of the vehicles sustained damage.
The DPR mission to the JCCC said Ukrainian military deliberately targeted the convoys. *ot
