Donetsk, Apr 20 – DAN. One person has been killed, eight injured in the DPR as the result of Kiev’s shelling this week, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Friday.
“One DPR soldier was killed, eight civilians sustained injuries as the result of Kiev’s shelling," he said.
Ukrainian forces opened fire on a convoy carrying Donetsk Water Treatment Plant (DFS) personnel on April 17, wounding five people. The Voda Donbassa state water company adopted a decision to evacuate the remaining personnel from the station, to shut it down and to mothball the facility.
On April 19, three civilians were injured by Ukrainian sniper fire at a checkpoint outside Donetsk.
Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 178 times over the week firing over 77 artillery rounds.*ot
