Donetsk, Jan. 30 – DAN. The number of victims of Kiev strikes on DPR over 24 hours has risen to two, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin told a news briefing on Monday.

"Two civilians were killed, three more wounded over the last 24 hours as Kiev forces shell DPR."

He said that three DPR servicemen were killed and another four wounded in Kiev's strikes.

The situation along the contact line has dramatically deteriorated over he last ywo days. Ukrainian armed forces carry out strikes almost on all axes, violating ceasefire almost 2,000 times in 24 hours. Eighteen households sustained damage in Donetsk, Makeyevka, Gorlovka.

Earlier DPR authorities urged the OSCE SMM and the Joint Center for Control and Coordination to do everything possible to stop Kiev's shelling. *ot
