Donetsk, Jun 4 — DAN. Ukrainian armed forces barrage central Donetsk with MLRS Grad rockets on Saturday evening, massive fires and casualties are reported.
The DPR Mission to the JCCC said that 40 Grad rockets were fired on Donetsk at 9:05 p.m. from Tonenkoye, and 15 more just 20 minutes later from Peski.
Footages of massive explosions and blazes emerged on social media, showing people in cafés and on the streets dropping to the ground in a bid to avoid being hit by shrapnel.
The city mayor said on his Telegram channel that trolley traffic was halted in the central districts due to «military action threat».
The exact number of casualties and the scale of destruction is unknown at the moment, early reports say that at least 10 people have sustained injuries. *ot
