Donetsk, Oct 17 - DAN. DPR ombudswoman Darya Morozova, ahead of the humanitarian subgroup meeting in Minsk on Wednesday, urged Ukraine to have constructive dialogue with the Republic.

“The humanitarian subgroup will gather for its next meeting in Minsk on 18 October. It plans to discuss the return of the documents belonging to the detainees released from Ukrainian captivity,” Morozova said in a statement received by Donetsk News Agency. “Prisoner exchange will top the agenda as before. I would like to call upon Ukraine to have productive dialogue which is essential for securing the men’s return to their homes and families.”

The ombudswoman noted that DPR would insist on adding to the detainees list 11 persons accused of serious crimes in Ukraine and another 47 people who Ukraine said were not involved in the events of so-called “anti-terrorist operation.”

The next round of Donbass peace talks will take place in Minsk on Wednesday. All the Conact Group’s working groups will take part in the negotiations. Contact Group participants are expected to sum up the results of the meeting.*jk
