Donetsk, Nov 28 — DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have shelled the Donetsk People’s Republic territory some 20 times since the beginning of the day.

Key events

DPR forces have broken through to the center of Maryinka, a small town west of Donetsk. Town residents are being evacuated from the zone of fighting. In northern DPR, Kiev gunmen in Artyomovsk are facing encirclement.

Pushilin ordered to demobilize the citizens who were, as of the time of their call-up, full-time or extramural post-graduates on programs which trained research or educational research personnel.

Moscow will supply more than one million textbooks in all subjects to schools in the Donbass republics in the beginning of 2023.  Moscow schoolchildren have gathered more than 700 books for Donbass children as part of the nationwide “Children for Children” action.

More than 23,300 citizens have requested compensations for lost or damaged homes or property. Decisions have been passed on 1,747 applications.

Artillery attacks

The enemy used multiple rocket launchers, cannon artillery and mortars to fire 95 rounds of ammunition at the Voroshilovsky, Kalininsky, Petrovsky, Kuibyshevsky and Leninsky districts of Donetsk, Gorlovka, Makeyevka and their outskirts.  A civilian was killed and damage was caused to at least five homes, cars and facilities of the Donetskavtogaz transportation company operates petrol/LNG stations and supplies LNG to the population. Ukrainian multiple rocket launchers have shelled central Donetsk for the second consecutive day.

The Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes said that 3,790 DPR civilians including 236 children have been wounded over the past 9.5 months since the latest conflict escalation. The figures include casualty statistics from the liberated territory. The civilian death toll within the DPR borders before the start of the special military operation has reached 522 with 26 children among the fatalities since February 17. Authorities are updating casualty figures in liberated areas. 

Special military operation

Kupyansk axis: enemy attacks at Kuzemovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic have been repelled.

Krasny Liman axis: defeat has been inflicted on two Ukrainian task force companies which advanced for an offensive against Chervonaya Dibrova.

Artyomovsk axis: enemy attempts to counter-attack in the direction of Belogorovka, Bakhmutskoye, Yakovlevka and Ivangrad in the Donetsk People’s Republic have been thwarted.

South Donetsk axis: two Ukrainian counterattacks in Neskuchoye and Oktyabr areas have been repelled.

Economy

The DPR has extended the list of cases where state procurements are permitted with one and only supplier. Procurements of goods, works and services can be made by a federal executive body or subordinate agency such as state unitary enterprise. Previously, procurements were only handled by DPR executive bodies and subordinate state-owned departments or companies.

DPR authorities initiated the launching of new trade outlets in Mariupol and other liberated districts which local administrations said did not have enough bakery stores. At present, more than 270 businesses sell food in Mariupol.

The Kalchik quarry plans to double the production of crushed granite. It monthly output currently reaches 160,000 tons.
