Donetsk, Jun 2 — DAN. Russia’s Lipetsk region has handed over glass units to the Volodarsky district in the Donetsk People’s Republic for installation in war-damaged hospitals and houses, local authorities told the Donetsk News Agency on Friday.

Reinforced plastic windows would be installed in two medical and obstetric centers, a local administration building and 14 apartment building units, an official said adding that the local administration had provided construction materials for repairs of 30 homes since the beginning of this year.

Earlier reports said that the Lipetsk region would replace almost 20 kilometers of water lines in the Volodarsky district.

The Volodarsky district is located in the south of the Republic. Russian forces liberated it from Ukrainian troops in the spring of 2022. In early June, DPR Head Denis Pushilin issued a decree creating local government. Russia’s Lipetsk region, as a sponsor, is helping the district rebuild its civil infrastructure.*jk
