Donetsk, Feb 26 – DAN.  Over 170 houses and social infrastructure facilities damaged during the war have been restored in Kirovskoye, eastern DPR, town administration said.

“As of today, Kirovskoye has restored 84 multi-apartment houses, 78 private houses and nine social objects damaged by Ukrainian forces strikes,” the report reads.

According to authorities, 115 multi-apartment houses and 98 private houses and nine social objects have been damaged in the town. In early February the only kindergarten with a swimming pool in the town was opened after repairs.

The population of Kirovskoye is estimated at 27.5 thousand people which is close to the pre-war figure of 28 thousand.

Kirovskoye is located in eastern DPR. The military action began here on 17 August 2014 and lasted till the nearby Debaltsevo was liberated by DPR and LPR forces on 18 February 2015; 28 civilians including three children died in the town of Kirovskoye due to Kiev's shelling. *ot
