Donetsk, Jul 9 – DAN. Kiev ignores 90 percent of ceasefire requests concerning areas where repair works must be carried out, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Major General Ruslan Yakubov speaking exclusively to DAN.
"Roughly 90 percent of requests concerning repair works are ignored by the Ukrainian side. They explain it by the fact that the requests are made in language other than Ukrainian."
This principle is applied only to the applications Kiev is not comfortable with, Yakubov said. Ukraine reviews requests concerning the Donetsk water treatment plant to facilitate shifts turover there.
"Kiev is being very selective (when it comes to ceasefire requests), it politicizes everything it does not view as advantageous. In fact nothing prevents Kiev form doing it every time."
After Russia withdrew its staff from the JCCC, the dialog between Ukraine and Donbass Republics is facilitated by the OSCE SMM. *ot
