Donetsk, Apr 5 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire nearly 80 times this week, said DPR People's Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.

"Over the week, 78 ceasefire violations were recorded; 23 townships came under fire."

Over this period, the enemy used 82 mm and 120 mm caliber mortars, anti-tank missile systems, IFVs, grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms.

Two civilians were injured in Gorlovka on March 31; eight houses, two garages and a playground were damaged.

"Photo and video evidence has been sent to international organizations and the Prosecutor General's Office," Basurin said.

A new recommitment to the ceasefire in Donbass has come into force on Friday, 1.01 a.m. GMT +3, after the security working group of the Contact Group had agreed to it on the previous day.

At 1.05 a.m. Kiev forces opened 120 mm mortar fire on Alexandrovka, western Donetsk.
