Donetsk, Jun 29 - DAN. Ukrainian forces shelled Alexandrovka neighbourhood in Donetsk’s western Petrovskiy district for three hours on Wednesday evening; damage to residential houses was recorded, a local official said.
“The shelling came from the closest Ukrainian positions at 8:00 p.m. yesterday and lasted about three hours. Two houses were damaged in Gorkogo and Chelyuskintsev outstreets,” local administration head Konstantin Chaliy told Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
Damage assessment is underway, he added.
Earlier reports said that a 56-year-old civilian was killed on Wednesday evening as Ukrainian army shelled Staromikhailovka village in western Donetsk.*jk
