Donetsk, Mar 11 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire almost a hundred times this week expending over 1,200 rounds, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.
"From March 4 to March 10, 97 ceasefire violations were recorded; the total number of shells fired on the DPR is 1,222, or 99 ammunition boxes, or 4.9 tons."
Over this period, 232 mortar rounds of 82 mm and 120 mm caliber, three anti-tank guided missiles were fired, 25 houses and infrastructural facilities sustained damage.
The JCCC said that in the past 24 hours Kiev forces violated the ceasefire twice, firing eight shells.
A new recommitment to the ceasefire in Donbass has come into force on Friday, 1.01 a.m. GMT +3, after the security working group of the Contact Group had agreed to it on the previous day.
At 1.05 a.m. Kiev forces opened 120 mm mortar fire on Alexandrovka, western Donetsk. *ot
