Donetsk, Jun 17 — DAN.  Ukrainian forces kept barraging the DPR on Friday, killing and injuring civilians. Massive damage was reported across the Republic, while almost 50,000 customers were left without power, including a coal mine.

International agenda

In Russia, the Saint Petersburg Economic Forum kicked off. The DPR Head Denis Pushilin attended its first day to sign cooperation agreements with a number of Russian public initiatives.

An agreement of cooperation in the spheres of trade, economy, culture and science was signed by the DPR Government Chairman Vitaliy Khotsenko and Moscow mayor Sergey Sobyanin.

Chambers of Commerce of Iran and the DPR signed an agreement to export and import construction materials, horticultural production, steel, metal rolling, cast iron, fertilizers, products of coal engineering enterprises, and tunnelling equipment.

DPR Minister of Sport Oleg Matytsin said that Donbass football clubs may participate in top Russian championships.

Humanitarian situation

A water pumping facility was launched to secure water supply in Donetsk, Makeyevka and Yasinovataya.

The Iliychevskiy district of Mariupol is being connected to water mains.

Repairs of railways were finalized at Mariupol, Mariupol Port, Volnovakha, Kalchik, Rosovka railway stations and Volnovakha-Karani section. *ot
