Donetsk, Jul 25 — DAN. Ukrainian forces fired about 152 shells on the DPR on Monday, while the Coalition continues its successful advance on the Gorlovka axis. DAN presents its evening news summary. 

Here are the key events so far on Monday, July 25.

Fighting and victims

The enemy used Grad MLRS, artillery, and mortars to target Donetsk, Yasinovataya, Gorlovka, and neighbouring townships.

A civilian was killed, two others sustained injured in Gorlovka, a teenage girl was injured in Staromikhailovka. 

Dozens of houses were damaged, and multiple blazes reported. Some shells exploded next to  Ozeryanovka Administration. About 9,100 household customers are without power.

The Russia-led coalition has been mopping up the Uglegorsk thermal power station; the understanding is that Novoluganskoye has been liberated, though no official confirmation has been issued so far.

Humanitarian situation

Novoazovsk-Sedovo highway reconstruction kicked off, roadworks in Makeyevka are ongoing, repair works at Volnovakha-Telmanovo road is finished.

Railroads are being repaired at Volnovakha,  Krasnyi Liman Stretch, and Mariupol-Port stations.

Telecommunication services were restored to customers in Mariupol, Volodarskoye, and Volnovakha.

In Yasinovataya, two additional technical water tanks of 1,000 l capacity were installed.
