Donetsk, Mar 11 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire twice over the past 24 hours, firing eight shells, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.
"Ukrainian armed forces fired eight rounds. The number of ceasefire violations is two," he said.
Yakubov said the fire was opened on the airport area and Yasinovataya. The enemy grenade launchers and anti-tank guided missiles. Ammunition under 12.7 mm caliber is excluded from daily reports.
In the previous 24 hours, Kiev forces fired 79 shells in eight ceasefire violations incidents.
A new recommitment to the ceasefire in Donbass has come into force on Friday, 1.01 a.m. GMT +3, after the security working group of the Contact Group had agreed to it on the previous day. At 1.05 a.m. Kiev forces opened 120 mm mortar fire on Alexandrovka, western Donetsk; later the Volvo Center in northern Donetsk, Kulikovo, Dokuchayevsk and Yasinovataya were targeted with 82 mm mortars, IFVs, grenade launchers and small arms, including of large caliber.*ot
