Donetsk, Feb 15 – DAN. Hospital No 21 and 11 houses in Donetsk’s Kuibyshevskiy district were damaged by the explosion at the city chemical plant which came under Ukrainian forces artillery fire on Tuesday, district administration head Ivan Adamets told Donetsk News Agency.

“The chemical plant explosion caused damage to ten windows in Hospital No 21 and windows of 11 houses in Tumanyana, Lenkoranskaya, Zuyevskaya, Shakhterskoi Slavy, Narvskaya and Sofiyskaya Streets,” Adamets said.

At around 10 a.m. on 14 February, a powerful explosion ripped through the Donetsk state-owned plant of chemical products. According to DPR Operations Command, the explosion occurred as a result of artillery strike by Ukrainian forces. One civilian was killed in the accident, preliminary reports said. *jk
