Donetsk, Jan 27 – DAN. Current Ukrainian authorities' crackdown on Russian speaking population is part of their Nazi-style policy, DPR citizens told DAN correspondents today as they gathered in front of the memorial to the victims of Nazism on the International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

"We must not forget history," said a Donetsk resident Yury Alekseevich. "The main lesson we should have learnt from the Holocaust is that religious and language bias is wrong. All people are equal; dividing people into "better and worse" is fascism."

The head of the Donetsk Leninskiy district Elena Kaptan said that Ukraine is currently occupied by modern-style Nazis. She said that the decision to establish the DPR was the right one in order to protect people from Ukrainian fascism.*ot
