Donetsk, Aug 15 – DAN. Gas supply has been restored to customers in the Petrovskiy district of Donetsk after it was disrupted by Kiev's shelling, the state company Donbass Gas said.

The Donbass Gas emergency line registered multiple damages to a gas distribution pipe caused by shrapnel in the Petrovskiy district of Donetsk, Udachnaya street, at 8.50 p.m. on August 14. Gas supply was cut to 88 private houses and 17 multi-apartment houses to contain the leak.

"As of 5 p.m. engineers of Donbass Gas have completed repair works to restore gas supply to customers in the Petrovskiy district of Donetsk, after they were left without it as a result of Kiev's artillery shelling."

The company warned that some households remain without gas as their owners were absent at the moment the supply was being restored. *ot
