Donetsk, Oct 11- DAN. Ukrainian army units shelled the Staromikhailovka neighbourhood in western Donetsk and the Sakhanka village in the south of the Donetsk People’s Republic on Wednesday evening damaging eight houses and a transmission line, local authorities said.
“Ukrainian forces delivered strikes at the Staromikhailovka settlement after 19:00 yesterday. Window and roof damage was recorded at 41 Shevchenko Str, roof damage at houses No 43 and 49 in the same street and at house No 32 in Gorky Street,” local administration head Konstantin Bort said.
A Novoazovskiy district administration official said that four houses and a transmission line had been damaged in Konstitutsiya street in Sakhanka by Ukrainian forces' strikes on Wednesday.
Wednesday reports said that Kiev forces had opened mortar fire at Sakhanka in southern DPR damaging a gas pipe.*jk
