Donetsk, Sep 22 — DAN. More than 450 polling stations will open across the Donetsk People’s Republic for voting in the referendum, DPR Central Election Commission Chairman Vladimir Vysotsky told reporters on Thursday.

“All our polling places are 100 percent ready; all people are motivated, the equipment is ready and voting papers are on hand, ” Vysotsky said adding that “we’re waiting for the voting to be begin.”

“More than 450 polling stations across the Republic are ready, ” he said.

On September 23-27, the Donetsk People’s Republic will hold the referendum over joining the Russian Federation. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia would support the decisions of residents of Donbass and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions on their future which will be made at the upcoming referenda.*jk
