DPR, May 26 — DAN. The slate factory in the Amvrosiyevka district in the Donetsk People’s Republic is resuming year-round operation for the first time since the late 2000s, said Tekhprom company sales manager Sergey Troyansky said on Friday.

“In our situation, roofs are the first to take damage, so we keep on working, ” Troyansky told the Donetsk News Agency.  “We’ve been working throughout this year, perhaps for the first time in 15 years, without making a pause in the winter.”

“There’s much work to do; I think we’ll be able to meet the demand, ” he added.

Troyansky said that after the DPR’s accession to Russia logistics improved for the supplies of raw materials and spare parts.

The company, located in the outskirts of the Novoamvrosiyevskoye township, Avrosiyevka District, was founded in 2001.  It employs some 100 personnel who produce flat and corrugated roof slates.*jk
