DPR reaches self-sufficiency in grain, oil-yielding crops, flour, sunflower oil

Donetsk, Sep 7 — DAN. Farmers in the Donetsk People’s Republic fully meet its needs for grain and oil-bearing crops, flour and sunflower oil, said the DPR Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry press service.

“The DPR’s domestic producers fully meet the region’s demand for wheat, barley, grain maize, sunflower seeds, wheat and rye flour and unrefined sunflower oil, ” the press service told the Donetsk News Agency.

The Ministry earlier said that DPR farmers had brought in more than 720,000 tons of early grain and legume crops this year.*jk
