Donetsk, Mar 9 – DAN. DPR launched the United Donbass foundation on Thursday to help implement the humanitarian assistance programme for fellow countrymen living in Kiev-controlled part of the region, DPR administration said in a press release.

“United Donbass began operation on 9 March. It was created at DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko’s instruction” to help implement the Donbass people reunification programme," it said.

The foundation is led by Donetsk Republic movement activist Vadim Engalychev.

“Our Foundation is ready to work. As DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko said, not a single person in Kiev-controlled Donbass needing help will be forgotten. We are one people and we won’t let the Nazi outlanders inundating Donbass divide us,” the administration press service quoted Engalychev as saying.

On February 17 DPR and LPR Heads Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitskiy launched the program of humanitarian assistance for residents of Kiev-occupied part of Donbass. The key objective of the program is to provide financial, medical and educational assistance to socially vulnerable groups. A hotline and a website were launched to provide online consultations for residents in Kiev-held Donbass areas.*jk
