Donetsk, Sep 4 – DAN. DPR Prosecution said it revealed human remains at the Boeing-777 crash site outside Torez, which might belong to the victims of the catastrophe.

"DPR Prosecutor General's Office has reacted to the media report of a US citizen, journalist Patrick Lancaster, on discovery of possible victims at the site of the Boeing-777 MH-17 flight crash which happened on July 17, 2014. Our staff members have retrieved the remains from the site in accordance with criminal investigation standards, and examined them. The results have shown that part of the samples might be human remains," the Prosecutor General's Office report said.

Currently DPR prosecution prepares an official address to the Dutch Public Prosecution Service to pass the forensic materials to the Netherlands.

"We officially announce that we are going to cooperate with the international investigation further on," DPR Prosecutor General's Office said.

Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17, en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed on 17 July 2014, killing all 283 passengers and 15 crew on board.

The independent joint investigation team (JIT) led by Dutch authorities includes experts from Australia, Malaysia, Ukraine and Belgium. *ot
