Donetsk, Jun 15 – DAN. DPR is open to any contacts with Ukraine's representatives to discuss the opening of humanitarian corridors at checkpoints between the DPR, LPR and Ukraine, said DPR Ombudswoman Daria Morozova.

"We eagerly supported Ukraine's initiative to open the checkpoints. We expressed the position on the necessity of sanitary norms to contain COVID-19 spread. Crossing the checkpoints should be limited and coordinated, that is why the mechanism was called a humanitarian corridor. I want to emphasize that we are ready for any online meetings and personal contacts to settle the issue," she said.

The key condition is "to have Ukraine's documented, written, position as it was mentioned by the humanitarian group coordinator from the OSCE Toni Frisch.

"As of today, Ukraine rejects finding ways to work out a mutually (acceptable) mechanism. We are asking to avoid politicizing the issue and using it for PR purposes.

"We must secure people's right for free movement as soon as possible," Morozova said.*ot
