Donetsk, Jan 26 – DAN.  DPR doctors have provided medical assistance to 536 residents of Kiev- controlled areas of Donetsk region under the aegis of the Donbass People Reunification humanitarian program in 2018, the Health Ministry said.

“High-level medical assistance has been provided to 536 patients living in Kiev-controlled territory of territory in 2018 under the aegis of the Donbass People Reunification humanitarian program.”

Chemotherapy, surgeries and beam therapy have been provided for 77 patients, nine women have undergone emergency gynecological treatment.

On February 17 DPR and LPR Heads approved the humanitarian aid program aimed to assist people living in Kiev-controlled territories. The main objective is to provide financial aid and educational assistance to vulnerable social groups. On February 21 the program was officially presented to people, hotlines and websites associated with the program were launched.*ot
