Donetsk, Jul 7 – DAN. Sixty patients from Kiev-controlled Donbass have been treated in DPR hospitals within the framework of the humanitarian program for the reunification of Donbass people, said the Health Ministry.
"Sixty patients from Kiev-controlled Donbass have received highly specialized treatment in DPR hospitals within the framework of the humanitarian program."
The Ministry said that 26 women gave birth in DPR, 20 patients had surgeries to implant cardiac pacemakers, nine adults were given chemotherapy to treat oncology, and four others were given chemotherapy to treat oncohematological illnesses.
One child was also given chemo to treat oncohematological decease.
The call-center responsible for medical services receive 2,000 calls from Kiev-controlled Donbass residents.
On February 17 DPR and LPR Heads approved the humanitarian aid program aimed to assist people living in Kiev-controlled territories. The main objective is to provide financial aid and educational assistance to vulnerable social groups. On February 21 the program was officially presented to people, hotlines and websites associated with the program were launched.*ot
