Donetsk, May 25 - DAN. A civilian was fatally wounded as Ukrainian armed formations delivered aimed fire at the western outskirts of Donetsk, the press service of the Donetsk People’s Republic Prosecutor General’s Office told the Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“At around 20:55 on May 24, a 66-year-old resident who was near House No 60 in Lugovskogo Street in Donetsk’s Petrovskiy district, suffered a perforating gunshot wound in the chest,” the PGO press service said. “The wound, inflicted in aimed small arms fire, proved fatal.”
DPR prosecutors filed a criminal case against Ukrainian army 28th Separate Mechanised Brigade commander Maxim Marchenko and his subordinates involved in the shooting.
Marchenko and his subordinates are suspects in several criminal cases over strikes at the Petrovskiy district which damaged houses and civil infrastructure in the DPR capital.*jk
