Donetsk, Jul 1 – DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic Prosecutor General’s Office opened six criminal cases against senior Ukrainian army commanders complicit in the shelling of Donetsk in the period of June 24 – July 1, the PGO press service said.
“The PGO is investigating three episodes of six criminal cases against commanders of Ukrainian armed forces who ordered the shelling of the Petrovskiy district of Donetsk, Gorlovka, Novoazovsk district, Dokuchayevsk and Yasinovataya with mortars and small arms,” the report said.
The criminal cases have been filed against the 24th separate mechanized brigade commander Valeriy Gudz and 30th separate mechanized brigade commander Ivan Garaz, 53rd separate mechanized brigade commander Andrey Polyakov, 93rd separate mechanized brigade commander Dmitry Bryzhinsky, 35th separate marine brigade commander Nikolay Palas, 36th separate marine brigade commander Andrey Gnatov.
