Donetsk, Aug 28 – DAN. The DPR paid tribute to children killed as the result of Kiev's offensive against Donbass, the ceremony took place beside the Memorial Arch in the Park of the Victory in Donetsk.
The Minister of Information Igor Antipov, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin, representatives of local authorities and social organizations, residents of Donetsk came to commemorate the tragic events.
Antipov announced a new project – Unlearnt Lessons - aiming at immortalizing the memory of Donbass children killed during the war.
All those present paid tribute to the victims of Kiev's offensive by observing a minute's silence and bringing flowers and toys to the memorial with the names of child victims engraved on it.
"Death of a child is a tragedy, but when hundreds of children die it is a pain increased in an unimaginable arithmetic progression," said Basurin.
Kiev's war against Donbass claimed 101 lives of children. *ot
