Donetsk, Jul 22 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic authorities provided financial aid to more than 100 large families from Kiev-held areas of Donbass over the past week, the Republic’s Labour and Social Policy Ministry said on Monday.

“One hundred and six Donbass residents received financial assistance last week as part of the Donbass people reunification humanitarian programmes,” the Ministry said. “The assistance was provided to large families living in Kiev-held areas of Donbass.”

Payments over the designated period reached over one million rubles, it added.

The DPR has implemented the humanitarian programme since February 2017. Its objective is to strengthen cultural, humanitarian and professional ties and provide social and public services. The Republic provides medical and financial support and allocates higher education quotas to residents of Kiev-held areas; it also carries out events to maintain spiritual and cultural values of the region.*jk*pp
