Donetsk, Aug 31 - DAN. DPR authorities launched the payment of Victory Day financial aid increments to Nazi persecution victims and participants in the 1945 war with Japan, the Republic’s Labour and Social Policy Ministry press service said on Thursday.
“Today, DPR began payments of Victory Day lumpsum allowance increaments to war veterans, 2nd and 3rd disability category veterans who took part in 1945 fighting with the Imperial Japan, and Nazi persecution victims, i.e. former inmates of concentration camps, ghettos and some other detention facilities,” the press service said.
Payments to these groups currently amount to 6,000 rubles. Previously, the sum of financial aid ranged between 1,100 and 5,500 rubles. “The sum of one-time allowance increment amounts to 500 to 4,900 rubles depending on the category,” the Ministry said.*jk
