Donetsk, May 15 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic ombudswoman Darya Morozova has expressed the hope that Kiev’s official representatives will take part in the upcoming humanitarian subgroup’s meeting.

“I hope that all the authorised representatives of the Ukrainian side will be present at tomorrow’s meeting and that the discussion of the agenda items will be effective and fruitful,” Morozova said ahead of the talks in a statement received by the Donetsk News Agency.

The agenda of the new round has not changed, she said, adding that DPR would raise such issues as prisoner exchange, the return of documents to former prisoners and their legal clearance. It is also planned to discuss mechanisms for search for the missing persons.

The humanitarian subgroup’s work was actually put on hold after the meeting on March 14, 2018, when the Ukrainian representatives ignored it and failed to attend subsequent meetings as well. Kiev’s interests at these meetings were defended by temporary envoys. The situation repeated itself at the talks on May 4.*jk
