Donetsk, May 3 – DAN. Offices of social aid and administrative services operating under the humanitarian program near crossing points will be upgraded to continue working in hot weather, said Donetsk Republic faction leader Aleksander Kostenko.
"It was decided to install benches at all the offices, schedule water delivery, open emergency services of DPR Emergencies Ministry tents, provide medical services. The preparations should be completed by the end of the week."
The deputies of the faction together with local authorities inspected the offices and assessed the quality and efficiency of the services.
"Based on what my colleagues and I saw, a lot has been done, it is a strong B+. People are grateful to DPR and LPR Heads for the initiative to launch the programs."
Four centers for providing social aid and administrative services have been launched since April 1 in vicinity of Elenovka crossing point, 20 kilometers southwest of Donetsk, near Mayorsk checkpoint in northern Gorlovka and Alexandrovka checkpoint in western Donetsk, in vicinity of Oktyabr crossing point in DPR south.
On February 17 DPR and LPR Heads approved the humanitarian aid program aimed to assist people living in Kiev-controlled territories. The main objective is to provide financial and aid assistance and educational assistance to vulnerable social groups. On February 21 the program was officially presented to people, hotlines and websites associated with the program were launched.*ot
