Donetsk, Jun 30 - DAN. Eight Donbass civil infrastructure facilities damaged in shelling by Ukrainian forces were restored in June with the assistance of the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination, the JCCC reported on Tuesday.
“The DPR Office at the JCCC helped repair eight Donbass civil infrastructure facilities damaged in shelling by Ukrainian armed formations,” the report said.
It checked the Dolomitny water pipe stretch between the Kalninskaya ore processing factory and the water tower in the Golmovskiy settlement in Gorlovka outskirts. The repairs of sewage treatment equipment lasted four days.
Also, small scale architectural structures were restored at the Gorlovka crossing point, repairs were carried out on high voltage lines in Golmovskiy and Yelenovka and two power lines in Shakhty Trudovskaya in Donetsk’s Petrovskiy district. Safeguards were installed at the Chekist electrical substation in the Staromikhailovka settlement in the west of the capital.
All the repairs were carried through, the JCCC said.
DPR officers at the JCCC regularly contribute to ensuring the safety of repair teams during restoration works in frontline areas. Meanwhile, Ukraine does not always honour its commitments. On March 25, Ukrainian armed formations opened sniper fire at the DPR repair team and JCCC representatives during repair works in the Yasnoye settlement in Dokuchayevsk wounding an observer.*jk
