Donetsk, Sep 13 – DAN. DPR Ministry of Trade and Industry reported 19pc grows of medications and medical appliances production y-o-y.
"in the seven months of 2017 the volume of medications and medical appliances production grew 19 pc compared to the same period last year," the ministry's press service said.
In the seven months 10.4 tons of pills, 24.7 million of medical appliances (adhesive plasters, mustard plasters), 328 thousand bottles of ethanol.
The leading manufacturers of the industry are Stirolbiofarm from Gorlovka and Sarepta-Mediplast from Donetsk.
"The sales in the seven months amounted to 2.4 bln rubles, an 8pc growth y-o-y," the ministry reported.
Since the Q2 2017, the ministry has been licensing companies manufacturing medications. As of today, eight enterprises are producing medications and medical appliances. *ot
