Donetsk, Jun 9 – DAN. DPR made a milestone 50th payment to a WWII veteran living in Kiev-controlled territory; the allocation was made at the Elenovka checkpoint, in the office for social payments and administrative services, acting head of the Ministry's of Labor and Social policy veterans, invalids ant other categories department Viktoria Pikiner told DAN.
"Today, on June 9, three payments were made to veteran's trustees. The milestone 50th payment was made at Elenovka checkpoint to the daughter of a veteran living in Volnovakha district."
The veteran was fighting on the Third Belorussian front during the WWII and acted heroically in Eastern Prussian strategic offensive, in which German forces were blocked.
On February 17 DPR and LPR Heads approved the humanitarian aid program aimed to assist people living in Kiev-controlled territories. The main objective is to provide financial and aid assistance and educational assistance to vulnerable social groups. On February 21 the program was officially presented to people, hotlines and websites associated with the program were launched.*ot
