Donetsk, May 16 – DAN. The DPR and the LPR have proposed a "157 for 20" detainees exchange to Kiev representatives at today's meeting in Minsk, said DPR envoy to the negotiations Denis Pushilin’s press secretary Viktoria Talakina.
"During the Contact Group meeting in Minsk today the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics have come forward with a proposition of an exchange of all confirmed prisoners kept in Ukraine and in Donbass. In accordance with the suggestion, 157 people will come back to the Republics, while 20 people will return to Ukraine."
The exchange discussion has been hampered by the absence of Kiev authorized representatives at the previous meeting of the humanitarian subgroup.
The latest swap took place on December 27, 2017 when DPR handed over 57 people to Ukraine, and 160 people came back to Donetsk. *ot
