DPR launches 30 new coalfaces since 2015

Donetsk, Jul 6 – DAN. DPR coal enterprises have begun working 30 new coalface since 2015, The Ministry of Coal and Energy reported.

"Since 2015, 30 new coalfaces and one mine floor have been set up; two more coalfaces have been re-launched into production."

Four coalfaces have been opened this year.

Earlier the DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko announced plans for 12 new coalfaces in 2018; the overall production is expected at eight million tons of coal, subject to possible increase. *ot
