Donetsk, Dec 4 – DAN. DPR Humanitarian Aid Program call-center has received 31 thousand requests since the end of April 2017, the center reported.

“Since April 27 the hotline received 31,000 calls."

People are mostly interested in receiving medical aid, payments to the WWII veterans and disabled miners, as well as in work of the United Donbass Foundation.  The majority of calls come from Mariupol, Kramatorsk and Maryinka.

The unified call-center of the Humanitarian Aid Program was launched on April 26, 2017 as the number of requests to ministries participating in the program was very significant.

On February 17 DPR and LPR Heads approved the humanitarian aid program aimed to assist people living in Kiev-controlled territories. The main objective is to provide financial aid and educational assistance to vulnerable social groups. On February 21 the program was officially presented to people, hotlines and websites associated with the program were launched.*ot
