Donetsk, Nov 23 - DAN. DPR state-owned company Avtodor workers removed snow on 300 kilometres of roads across the Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Transport Ministry reported on Thursday.
“Eleven Avtodor brigades and 26 units of snow-cleaning equipment have been engaged in the effort over the past 24 hours,” the Ministry’s press service said. “Eighty tons of de-icing mix was put on roads to ensure traffic safety and more than 300 kilometres of roads were cleared of snow.”
The Transport Ministry said the republic began snow cleaning on 21 November as the weather rapidly worsened. Avtodor mobile brigades clear and de-ice roads round the clock.
Heavy snowfall hit the Donetsk People’s Republic on 21 November afternoon. The next day, the DPR capital alone used 90 units of equipment to remove snow on the streets. *jk
