Donetsk, Aug 11 - DAN. DPR will manufacture some 100 buses of domestic brand ‘Donbass’ by year-end, the Republic’s leader Alexander Zakharchenko told reporters on Friday.
“We plan to manufacture 100 buses by the end of this year; the first ten buses will go to Gorlovka,” Zakharchenko said.
Earlier in the day, DPR manufacturers presented their first two buses. The new bus brand’s name is ‘Donbass.’
The DPR leader announced domestic bus production plans last November. Subsequent reports said buses would be assembled at the Donetskgormash enterprise in DPR capital. DPR planned to produce the first bus in summer 2017.*jk
