Donetsk, Jan 22 – DAN. DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko suggested Ukrainian experts should take part in the Elenovka civilian bus shelling investigation.
"We invited Ukrainian experts more than once, and we are ready to confirm it now. Come and have a look yourselves. Yesterday I visited the site (of the incident). The impact holes show the fire was opened from Kiev forces positions. The distance is big, and a good sniper could do it," Zakharchenko told journalists.
He also called Kiev's allegations that DPR forces were involved in the shooting "absurd and groundless".
A civilian bus came under shelling on Sunday, January 21, at the vicinity of Elenovka checkpoint south of Donetsk. One civilian was killed, another one injured. *ot
