Donetsk, Mar 29 — DAN. More than 60 Russian passport acceptance facilities are operating in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Russian Interior Ministry said in a post on Telegram on Wednesday.
“There are more than 120 acceptance centers functioning in the new regions at present; more than 60 are operating in the DPR, ” Interior Ministry spokesperson Irina Volk said.
In the city of Mariupol which had six passport offices since November 2022, two more have opened in Metallurgov Street and Kievskaya Street, she added.
Latest reports said that more than 682,000 Russian passports have been issued to DPR residents. On March 13, new passport offices were launched under the Multi-Functional Center and “Donbass Post, in addition to the facilities operated by the DPR Interior Ministry’s Migration Service.”*jk
