Donetsk, Mar 6 - DAN. Humanitarian program of reunification of Donbass people announced by DPR and LPR aroused interest of residents of Kiev-occupied territories and some Ukrainian districts, said DPR acting Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova.

"Almost immediately after the hotline telephones of the Reunification Center were published, a lot of incoming calls followed both from former Donetsk district and Kharkov, Ternopol, Odessa districts. There are about 50 calls a day," she said.

Most frequently people ask about one-time payments to WWII veterans, conditions of receiving medical aid and entering Donbass universities.

"We can definitely say that Ukrainian people are interested in the program. We hope the program will allow us to achieve our primary goal of Donbass reunification."

On February 17 DPR and LPR Heads approved the humanitarian aid program aimed to assist people living in Kiev-controlled territories. The main objective is to provide financial and aid assistance and educational assistance to vulnerable social groups. On February 21 the program was officially presented to people, hotlines and websites associated with the program were launched. *ot
